Shannon Christen was born in Seattle and has lived in the Pacific Northwest her entire life. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology in 1995 and a Master’s degree in Audiology in 1997 from Western Washington University. In 2006, Shannon completed her Doctoral degree in Audiology at Still University. Shannon and her husband Dan have been married since 1997 and have two children. Their son Alex was born in 2001 and their family was completed with the birth of their daughter Reagan in 2003. Shannon has a real passion for hearing healthcare and although she enjoys seeing patients of all ages (3 to 103), she particularly enjoys the geriatric population and feels privileged to be able to hear so many “war stories” and get so much life advice from those “older” patients she has grown to know as friends.
